Globoplay: Novelas, séries e + saw a significant spike in downloads, reaching 730K in the second week of January, before settling to a steady trend around the 300K mark towards the end of the quarter. The app's revenue peaked at nearly $965K in the same week, with weekly active users hitting a high of 7.5M, before eventually stabilizing to just under 7M.
Disney+ experienced a more consistent pattern, with downloads ranging between 146K to 229K and revenues hovering around the mid-$200Ks throughout the quarter. Active users saw a decline from 2.7M to around 2.3M by the end of March.
HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies showed mixed results, with downloads remaining fairly stable, around the 170K mark, but revenue saw a dip to $17K in late February. Weekly active users started at 2.2M but saw a significant drop to 465K by the end of March.
Crunchyroll maintained steady download numbers, starting the quarter with 125K and ending with 98K. Revenue displayed a slight fluctuation but remained around the $170K to $200K range. Active users showed a slight decrease from 1.5M to 1.4M.
Lastly, Star+, another Disney-owned service, saw downloads peaking at 224K in mid-January, with revenue oscillating near the $160K mark throughout the quarter. Weekly active users remained strong, fluctuating between 3.3M and 3.7M.
